How long does Discovery take?
- Discovery is time-boxed according to the situation being examined. We define the scope and schedule before the engagement begins rather than publishing a duration that may not fit the work.
What do we receive?
- You receive a written Findings document and a working session in which we explain the current situation, the opportunity, the constraints, and our recommended path forward.
Can you work with our existing systems?
- That is usually the point. Discovery includes the relevant tools, data flows, permissions, and operating constraints so any recommendation reflects the environment your teams already use.
How do you handle sensitive information?
- We agree on what information is required before accessing it. Any implementation must document the relevant data flows, providers, access boundaries, retention behavior, and human-review points. Specific legal, security, and compliance requirements are addressed in the engagement documents.
Who owns the work?
- Ownership of findings, custom software, reusable PineWoodsAI technology, and third-party components is documented before implementation begins. It should never be left implicit.
How is an AI system evaluated?
- The evaluation should reflect the job the system is expected to perform. Depending on the work, that may include accuracy, completeness, consistency, latency, cost, user adoption, escalation behavior, or a measurable operating outcome. The relevant criteria are defined before launch.
When is PineWoodsAI not the right fit?
- We are not a staffing firm, a model reseller, or a source of bulk implementation labor. We are most useful when a defined product, process, or decision needs senior attention from understanding through implementation.
