AugSite Terms of Service

1. What AugSite Is
AugSite is a hosted public website package provided by PineWoodsAI LLC ("PineWoods," "we," "us"). It includes branded pages, a front-door Site Assistant grounded in a customer-designated wiki, answer-engine optimization (AEO) on public pages, routine included changes submitted via ticket, and hosting in an environment PineWoods controls.
AugSite is not RIF, Athena Prime, Hive, or any other PineWoods application platform. It is not your core application, matching engine, portal, mobile app, or student-application flow. The Site Assistant is a website bot, not product AI.
2. Acceptance
These Terms are accepted by checking the acceptance box and completing checkout through Stripe. Checkout is the order record: it captures the tier, term, price, property, billing email, Terms version, and timestamp.
By completing checkout you agree to these Terms as they exist at the version recorded in your checkout. No separate signature or negotiation is required.
3. Fees and Checkout
The subscription price, billing interval, property, and any promotional discount are those displayed and accepted at checkout. Checkout is the order record.
PineWoods may offer promotional discounts or promotion codes. A discount applies only as shown at checkout and does not create any most-favored-pricing or future-pricing right.
There is no setup fee in normal self-serve checkout. Annual billing is prepaid for twelve months and carries a discount versus monthly.
4. Included Changes
Routine changes are included: copy updates, photo swaps, wiki updates, broken-link fixes, and similar changes that do not materially change the information architecture, data model, integrations, application logic, or design system.
Authentication systems, apps, portals, calculators, CRM builds, matching or application behavior, RIF, Athena, and anything materially outside AugSite are not included. Those are AugSvcs engagements under a separate statement of work.
A Slack ticket or message is not authorization for work outside the included-changes test.
5. Excess Consumption
Ordinary hosting, Site Assistant, and AEO use is included. Usage PineWoods reasonably determines is excessive may be billed at cost plus 30%, throttled, or require a different commercial arrangement.
6. Your Content and Data
You own your brand, copy, media, domain, wiki content, leads, and client-specific creative. PineWoods owns the AugSite framework, templates, Site Assistant runtime, Hive, CI, AEO integration machinery, hosting and build environments, and all generalized improvements.
Ordinary website personal data — names, emails, phones, IPs collected through contact or lead forms — is expected and handled under our Privacy Policy. Sensitive or specially regulated data (health, student, payment-card, or similar) is not permitted in self-serve AugSite without PineWoods' written approval and any required additional data terms.
7. Payment Failure
You authorize recurring charges through the payment method on file. If payment fails, PineWoods may retry, suspend service after a grace period, or terminate the subscription. Fraud signals may result in immediate suspension.
8. Cancellation and Exit
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term. No refunds for partial periods.
On cancellation or non-renewal, you receive a deployable copy of your then-current public pages, wiki content, and lead exports, plus DNS instructions. You do not receive PineWoods Technology, hosting accounts, pipelines, runtimes, Hive, Site Assistant machinery, or CI.
9. PineWoods Technology
Payment buys hosted access during the term. It does not buy the factory. No source code, repository access, on-premises deployment, or customer-environment deployment is granted.
PineWoods Technology includes, without limitation: source and object code, models, prompts, agents, orchestration, workflows, architectures, schemas, APIs, integrations, automation, tools, frameworks, templates, runtimes, Hive, hosting and build environments, Site Assistant machinery, AEO and vendor integration machinery, documentation, generalized methods, know-how, and improvements.
10. Suspension and Termination
PineWoods may suspend or terminate service for nonpayment, abuse, unlawful content, or violation of these Terms. We may modify or discontinue AugSite with advance notice where feasible.
11. Limitation of Liability
AugSite is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. PineWoods' total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
12. Indemnification
You indemnify PineWoods against claims arising from your content or your use of AugSite. PineWoods indemnifies you against claims that the AugSite framework itself infringes a third party's intellectual property, excluding any claim arising from your content or your modifications.
13. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware. They constitute the entire agreement for AugSite and supersede any prior terms for this product. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. We may assign these Terms; you may not without our prior written consent.
